Questions parents ask

How does Storynite make a story about my child?

Each evening you answer three short questions about your child's day: the best part, something funny, and something they learned. Storynite writes an original story around those moments, with your child as the hero and their interests shaping the plot, then illustrates it. No two stories are the same.

Is it safe for children?

Storynite is ad-free and made for parents to use with their kids. A parent has to give consent before adding a child's profile, and Storynite checks both what you type and the finished story to make sure they're right for children.

What ages is it for?

Children aged 2 to 12. The reading level, vocabulary and story length adjust to your child's age.

Can siblings be in the same story?

Yes. Choose "Include siblings" and up to five children can share one adventure, each looking like their own avatar, with the story weaving in all of their interests.

Which languages can stories be written in?

23, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Arabic, Chinese and Korean. Stories are written directly in the language you choose, not translated.

Can we keep the stories?

Every story stays in your library while you're subscribed, to re-read and favorite anytime. You can also export any story as a PDF or ePub to keep for good.

How are the illustrations made?

Storynite's AI paints three illustrations for each story in a warm watercolor picture-book style. Your child's avatar, with the hair, outfit and accessories you chose, appears the same way in every picture.

What happens after the free week?

The free trial includes 7 stories, one a night. If you don't cancel, it becomes Premium at $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year, with 30 stories every month. More billing answers
